Craftsmanship and Tradition
Craftsmanship and Tradition

Tradition and sustainability, innovation and quality define the essence of Finca de Uga, the organic farm founded by Rosa Group. The farm supplies fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy and cheeses daily to the various gastronomic outlets of Hotel Fariones and Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort 5*.

Sustainable Production

The culinary offering of both hotels focuses on discovering the essence of Lanzarote through local products, highlighting its roots and valuing what is authentic. In this context, Finca de Uga plays a key role, dedicated to the traditional cultivation of fruits and vegetables to guarantee freshness and natural flavour while respecting seasonal production. Among its crops are orange trees, avocados, apple trees, fig trees, apricot trees, papayas and strawberries, as well as garden produce such as tomatoes, lettuces, peppers, courgettes and aubergines.

In addition to vegetables, Finca de Uga has around 1,000 animals, including Canary black free-range hens, Majorera goats, Canaria sheep, Jersey cows and Canary black piglets. This last one, a unique cross in the world, stands out on the menu of Isla de Lobos, the Repsol Sun-awarded restaurant of the Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort 5*.

The artisanal dairy of Finca de Uga produces the cheeses and dairy products served at Isla de Lobos and other restaurants of the Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort 5* and Hotel Fariones. Using the exclusive milk of 400 Majorera goats, 300 Canaria sheep and 30 Jersey cows, they create yoghurt and unique cheeses, recognised at the World Cheese Awards. These fresh, high-quality products are present in the daily buffets and restaurants of both hotels, reflecting their commitment to health, the environment and seasonality, offering an authentic experience of the island and the Atlantic.
