Where it all began
Where it all began
There are stories that are not born from a plan, but from an emotion. Finca de Uga began this way: with a small horse stable, a few goats and a family that decided to return to a life close to the land. What started as a return to the essential ended up becoming an agro-livestock farm where tradition and sustainability walk hand in hand.
Today, that original dream is still alive among volcanoes and Atlantic winds. At every dawn, animals are milked, cared for, cultivated and listened to, because here, animals are not numbers: they are part of the family.
At Finca de Uga everything has its own time. Sheep are shorn calmly, only when their moment comes; tomatoes ripen under the sun without shortcuts; and the sows raise their piglets in open spaces, surrounded by shade and soft music. Nothing is forced, nothing is improvised.
Respect for natural rhythms teaches us that quality cannot be imposed: it must be cultivated. And that respect is what gives character to every cheese, every vegetable and every dish served in the restaurants of ROSA Group.

Preserving what is ours
Preserving what is ours
We are the only breeders of the Canaria Sheep in Lanzarote, a breed we care for with pride. Its milk is the origin of some of our most awarded cheeses, and its preservation is part of our responsibility to the island. What is local is not a trend: it is a way to protect what makes us unique.
Walking through the farm is discovering how nature and human work can coexist in balance. Green fields contrast with volcanic soil, the air smells of grass and sea, and the sounds of the countryside blend with calm. Here, every corner tells a story, and every story speaks of respect, patience and love for what we do.
